We appreciate your interest in a substitute position with the West Bonner County School District. Substitute applications are accepted throughout the school year. Applications are not processed through the summer months. It is not mandatory that a person be certified to substitute in the West Bonner County School District, although we do prefer certified applicants. Please complete the online application and you will be contacted upon the application process being completed.

Substitute Bus Drivers: Please bring in a copy of your CDL License with the S endorsement when you are fingerprinted.


Thank you for your interest in serving as a school volunteer. This application procedure helps us to provide the safest environment for our students. Prior to completing the online volunteer application, it is required that you read the District's policy regarding volunteers (click here). A criminal history/fingerprint check will be obtained for those volunteers that will have unsupervised access to children. The school's volunteer coordinator will contact you upon the application process being completed.

Applying for a Parapro Position?

In order to apply for a paraprofessional position with the WBCSD#83, you must be considered a highly qualified per the NCLB Act.  To be highly qualified you must meet one of the following criteria.

  • Associates Degree from a College or University - any subject area
  • 30 semester college credits
  • Successfully passed Parapro Praxis Exam
