2/21/17

STUDENTS:

There will be a meeting in the library for all junior girls on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at 7:45. All junior girls are to go to the library at that time. Mr. Kren

 

Career Day 2017 is coming March 3rd.   Watch for more details to come.

 

SENIORS:

Andie Wilson will be holding Scholarship/FASFA workshop nights in the computer lab every Wednesday from 3:00-5:00 for anyone that is interested

 

SPORTS:

Golf sign- ups are in the gym.  First practice - TBA.

 

Baseball signups are in the front office and the quad.  Anyone interested in playing contact Coach Schultz. First practice is February 24th.  New athletes must complete sports packet before the first practice. 

 

The 1st Track Practice will be on Tuesday, February 28th.   There are signup sheets in the front office, quad and Mr. Hughes’ room (410).  Athletes must have a completed sports packet into the AD office before the first practice.

Please join us on Friday, February 24 at 1:30 – 2:30p.m. in the JH Auditorium for our 1st and 2nd quarter awards.  Students will be honored for being on honor roll, and having outstanding attendance. 

 

Please note that the Honor Society induction ceremony has been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 1 at 6:00p.m.  If your child has been accepted to Honor Society, then they will be bringing an invitation home with them this week.

After School Art 2/23/17. There is limited space, so be sure and register early.

After School Club  Monday & Wednesday through March 29th. See your classroom teacher for more details.

Bulldog Bookshelf Book-drive. Drop off your gently used books anytime at the school.

February Character Focus is Honesty.

Read 20 minutes a day to participate in the Reading Challenges and weekly rewards. Reading slips need to be signed by parent/guardian and returned each week. We had 60 students meet the Second Quarter Challenge. Way to go Bulldogs!

It’s still cold outside so please remember to dress warm and in layers. Always plan to have outside recess. Bring extra shoes so you don’t have to wear boots indoors all day and remember athletic shoes on PE days.
